ACMA Member Profile - Kevin Phelps, City Manager, City of Glendale
Where are you originally from?
Wichita, Kansas

I may be biased, but I believe that what we do at the local level impacts the quality of life of our citizens more so than that of the president, our congressional delegation or the state legislature. by Dr. Frank Benest

I'm a mid-manager in a suburban city government. I'd like to advance in my career, but I'm "stuck" in my current program manager role. I went back to school and earned an MPA; I competed unsuccessfully for one position inside my organization and one with another local government agency.
